The CE-L LogoKatharine O'Moore-Klopf saw a need for Copyediting-L logos, knew the person who could design them, and followed through The resulting logos are available in several sizes and formats. To obtain one of the files, right click one of the links below and choose the "save" option. This is usually something like save as, save image, or save target as. Files shown with "t" following the size have alpha channel transparency and are in 8-bit-color mode. This applies only to GIF and PNG files. Non-transparent GIFs are in 8-bit-color mode. Non-transparent PNGs are in 24-bit-color mode. All JPEGs are in 24-bit-color mode with a 95% quality setting (Fireworks). The number included in the file name indicates the width of the graphic in pixels.
Creator of the LogosThe Copyediting-L logos were created in December 2004 by Lisa Grabowski, a graphic artist with over 20 years' experience, from an idea suggested on one of the CE-L lists by member Mark Wise in April 2004. She has counted among her clients an assortment of large advertising firms, pharmaceutical/health care promotion agencies, and graphic design companies. The products she's illustrated for these agencies' clients have ranged from hamburgers to hospitals, dog food to drugs (over the counter and prescription), and candy to communications.
